Default Best Female Character in Urban Fantasy

I thought it would be a bit of fun to see which female character people like the most from urban fantasy. It's sort of like a Miss Urban Fantasy contest I guess, except for the talent competition most of them will need a shooting range.

I did vote for Harper, Karrin Murphy comes in a very close second though, she won out because she is so unique in her genre and she has never taken a back seat to anyone. She has continued to evlove and become more interesting as her story has progessed through the Greywalker Novels.

Well clearly Harper, but I love Murphy, Kitty and Kincaid too. Other top chicks for me would be Jaz Parks and Kim Harrisons witch whose name escapes me right now but will no doubt come back to me 5 seconds after I post and Luna Wilder.
My fave male leads are obviously Dresden and Jack from Street Magic and Saul Dustcircle from the Kismet books and the guys in Rob Thurman's Leandros books.

Harry Dresden is probably my favorite male character but there just seem to be a great deal more female leads than males in urban fantasy at the moment so it seemed like a more interesting topic to discuss.

Stephanie Plum (in the non numbered books its clearly Urban Fantasy, if not in the numbered ones)

I also like Betsy Taylor and Rachel Morgan

Door from NeverWhere by Neil Gaiman.

Not sure if the comic Sandman (also by Neil Gaimain) would count as Urban fantasy. If it does, then the answer is Death. She is so cool. =^_^=

Door and Death are both awesome.
Kat - you are only the second person i've come across who's seen the series, and the other is someone I lent it to. I loved it, the production felt very british.

I like Rachel Morgan. She's complicated, sexy, and definitely not a one trick pony. Kim Harrisson has done very well creating a new world, and slicing a wicked sexual tension into the story without that being the story.

I must admit, I'm partial to Murphy because she deals with the weird stuff on a regular basis, with no powers or special abilities.

I like Kitty as well, mostly because a lycanthrope who's "out" and hosting a show about it I find rather amusing.

I also like Suzie Shotgun from the Nightside books, though I'm not sure if they really fit the "urban fantasy" genre. Anyone who gets a nickname of "Dear God, it's her, run!" has got to be cool.
