Default W00t!

LABYRINTH is out today in the US and Thursday in the UK! Send me a photo of you and your copy of Laybrinth (preferably in a strange location or situation) and I'll send you a limited edition puzzle.

Hmm, must think of strange location for a picture now.

Really looking forward to reading this. If only I didn't have to work and could just sit and ready today.

My copy of Labyrinth has arrived!

Big question time - do I spread out the time it takes me to read it so I can enjoy the pleasure for longer or do I gobble it all up in a couple of sessions, which is what the greedy me wants to do?

And where do I find to take a photo of me and the book that is unusual? That I will have to think about. Hmmmmmm ...

OK, now I've read Labyrinth.

Maybe it was my mood at the time of reading, but it felt like taking down Wygan was a bit too easy.
Also, poor Quinton.

Why 'poor Quinton'?

Well, he's been pretty understanding about the whole situation between Harper and Will so far - but how's he going to react when he finds out she's now the eyes and hands of her ex-boyfriend the Grey Guardian?

I have only read the book once and then I gobbled it up because I loved it so much and I will read it again, slowly and taking everything in, but I didn't get what you mentioned from my reading of the story. Did I miss something?

Perhaps I misinterpreted something. However:
1) Harper is stated to be the eyes and hands of the Guardian in the 'real' world.
2) Will appears to become the Guardian after Wygan destroys it at the end of Labyrinth.
3) Ergo, Harper is now Will's eyes and hands.

There's no way that could possibly end badly, right?

I agree with 1, 2, and 3 and yeah, LOL, not going to end badly at all. But ... is Will still Will? How much of the man remains as the Guardian?

*giggle* oh, that's not going to be any of Quinton's problem, my dears. he has a whole different set of them....

no spoilers, now: I only just turned the sixth book in a month ago and haven't done the revisions yet. But yeah... not the problem you may be thinking.

Meanwhile, I had a chat with my editor's boss on Saturday and we'll be doing more Greywalkers. Just have to iron out the contract details.

And I'm hoping to get the mass markets out a month earlier or so

and there might be a Mickey book or a Cameron book, if things work out. Probably not a Marsden book soon, but if I can get the time to do the research that's a longshot maybe.
