according (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7709950?MSNHPHMA) to one guy at foxsports, the giants are now america's team.

I freely admit that "America's Team" moniker that the Cowboy's gave themselves goes beyond being arrogant and boastful they have held it for somewhere around 30 years.

If the American public wants to abolish it all together is one thing, but you can't take it away and give it to the Giants because of one great season.

Actually, a great half season at that.

They are America's team solely because they are going against the current Dynasty. Dallas had that against the Steelers in the 70s, when Bradshaw kept smoking them.

The fact the Dallas named themselves America's Team is probably the main reason I absolutely will not root for Dallas, ever. Regardless of the fact that I like Emmit and Dione.

pauly: well, it's just one guy saying it, man. hell, i'm not, i just thought it was funny. :>

BB: i agree, a great half season. a great season doesn't include multiple games of throwing key passes to the other guys 3+ times.

Yeah, I'll never root for Dallas. I don't care how good they are at winning.

They arent from Boston, ergo, they must be good. Uhmm, something like that?

Uhm, shouldn't you say something like "Present company excluded"?

I am after all both from Boston, and good.
