OK, we're up to the last week of the regular season. Three of the playoff spots are basically set, although technically Tribbles haven't clinched a playoff berth, they will win the tie-breaker with any other 8-win teams in the event that they lose to Fallen Angels. If the Angels win, they are in, if not, they can still get in if both WCT and Spider Pigs lose, or if they score well enough to win the total points tie-breaker between themselves and those teams if at least one of them wins.

Neanderthals and Wookies are playing head-to-head this week, with the overall #1 seed on the line. Tribbles have a chance at the #2 seed, regardless of the winner of Neanderthals-Wookies, if they win and score well. Higher seed is the sole tie-breaker during the playoffs.

The Chargers are also at Tennessee, so they might be able to slow LT down some. Maybe. LT has a very nice schedule in weeks 15-16 (Detroit & Denver, both at home), so he could explode in the playoffs.

Huh, so we are. I could've sworn that as of week 13 the playoffs weren't scheduled to start until week 15. This better not be another Fox fuck up. So, there is a form at the Fox Sports site for "playoffs issues" that I just filled out and submitted. We'll see if the schedule gets corrected or not. I have no idea how things will turn out, to be honest.

OK, to their credit, Fox did fix up the scheduling snarl. The playoffs will be #1 Neanderthals vs. #4 Tribbles, in what is shaping up to be the mother of all semifinal battles, and #2 Wookies vs. #3 Angels.
