Hmm, Bodyshots are nasty. Take a look at this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNgDdLPULSc). Martin Holm wins over Jan "The Giant" Nortje with a well-placed knee (around 0:53 into the round.)

Carm: the way one of my trainers explained it is thta if you get hit in the liver, the liver will cramp, sending out all blood in it into the rest of body. Once the body realises that it wasn't that bad, it will draw it all back, and you get knocked-out.

A strong, straight shot to the liver shocks the body.

Hatton is an inside boxer. His hooks and uppercuts are his most powerful punches.

He caught him in the liver.
