OK, this is the playoff picture as it stands:
Neanderthals have clinched, as of the results from Week 11, actually.
The winner of the Wookies-Angels matchup clinches a playoff spot. Loser can still clinch with a win in Week 14.
Tribbles will earn a virtual clinch with a win over the Skillets, because they are at least 240 points ahead of all the teams within one game of their record and one of Wookies or Angels will lose this week (excluding the extremely unlikely possibility of a tie down to the nearest 0.01 points).
WCT need to win their final two games vs. The Demolition and the Skillets and either have Tribbles lose their final two games, or one of Wookies and Angels to lose their final two games and have fewer total points than the Trolls. The WCT and Wookies are in a virtual dead heat for total points, but the Angels are about 80 points behind both.
Spider Pigs have the fewest total points of any of the five 6-8 win teams, so they need some help to make the playoffs. If they win their final two games and Tribbles and WCT both end up at 7-7 (or worse, in the WCT's case), that would do it.

Also, forgot to mention that there is a Thursday night game this week, so get your Packers and Cowboys in the lineup by 5 pm PST this Thursday.
You're forgetting the most important element. The winner of the Wookies/Angels game pretty much locks up 2nd spot and doesn't get the neanderthals in the 1st round while the loser has a good chance of finishing 4th and having this "honor".

Bah.
I'm beatable. It's happened twice, and can easily happen again.

Actually, if the Week 13 winner of Wookies/Angels loses in Week 14, Tribbles could slide into the #2 spot if they win their last two games and not get outscored by 240 points by the Wookies/Angels winner over the last two weeks.

Tribbles are certainly very prayerful they make the playoffs now

Eh, get win #8 this week, and you're pretty much in. You won't get outscored by 250-400 points over the last two weeks of the season by any of the teams near you in the standings that could finish the season with at least 8 wins, much less all of them.

We are definitely going back to Yahoo next year, in case I haven't mentioned that yet.
=========
I have the wrong guys in at RB this week, which is looking to finally end my slim playoff chances.

Have I mentioned that I have the wrong guys in at RB this week? I guess the doctors knew what they were talking about. Son of a bitch.
I'm feeling pretty goood about my chances here.

Im guessing after Brett Favre's performance Ive been pretty much owned this week?
You're up by more than 20 actually.
Disturbing is that spider pigs are up by 41 and that it may not be enough...

You've already won this week, Kal, unless Moss loses like 24 points tomorrow night, and that ain't happening.
I am reeling in disbelief that I beat The Demolition by 10 points. I thought I was getting killed in that game, for whatever reason.
Carson palmer and chad johnson didn't hook up for much of anything. That lack of TD's is what did it for you. Had they hooked up at all that would have been it.

<shrug> I'd be a lot more comfortable if I'd have started Johnson instead of Branch.

Prior to that I was thinking of the Cowboys' players and Westbrook having big games and my RBs not doing much of anything while Peterson was exploding on my bench. Maybe I was thinking that Pauly had Romo, but that was last year. After Anderson's early turnovers vs. Arizona, I thought I was sunk, even with Minnesota's big day on D. After Anderson's second turnover, I took a nap instead of following that game, and then I didn't realize that Palmer and Johnson were going up against me in the night game, and I was rooting on Hines Ward for another league I am in. I really thought I was out of it in this league when that game started and didn't even bother to check until late last night. But, I'll definitely take it...
