Scoring in the league has increased. There are only two defenses (Patriots and Ravens) who have allowed less than 200pts this season. (And that may very well change by the end of today.)
For next year:
Should we re-norm the defensive point awards on scores allowed to reflect this?
Or since D/ST already combines a disproportionate number of points into a single pick, should we leave them be?
<grin> I can see both sides, and really don't have a strong preference. But it's probably something we should discuss.

I think it's fine the way it is right now. Defenses don't really make hay with points allowed, anyways, and they seem to score fine as things now stand.

I really don't see a problem with the way it is now, but we can always discuss it again next year.

We might want to consider giving WRs and TEs more points for each reception. Say 0.5 PPR for WRs, and an even 1 PPR for TEs.

I think .5 points per reception for WR TE and RB is a good idea. But not giving TEs any more points than anybody else.

I thought we already gave 0.5 points per reception.
(In fact, I'm pretty sure of it.)

Each reception is worth 0.25 points right now. Last year you initially set things to 0.5 PPR but then dropped it down to 0.25 during the pre-season.

The reason to make different positions get differing numbers of points per reception is to try to level out scoring across the different positions.

Sure, I'm just giving the rationale for the different weighting, if we choose to go that way.

It works for me either way. It's not like one player would have an advantage over another since we are all playing by the same rules
Nay for the different scoring. Yay for the .5 per.
