I am going to continue to experiment with aspects of these two campaigns. Some of my attempts have been more successful than others, but that's to be expected. I am going to open up this thread for rumors and research. I will post rumors and possible pieces of either useful or misleading information for different characters.
I will also answer requests for research and information in this thread, although remember, the results may or may not be true, or entirely true.

Jimmy/Pauly - You have tried to find out who was responsible for your involuntary entrance into the armed forces, but have so far been unsuccessful. You have the feeling that the information is either inaccessible ("That's above your pay grade") or you were simply part of a larger and impersonal program that simply chose you based upon an unknown set of criteria, and bore no grudge or direct ill will.
Mike/Joe Kickass - Since encountering Martin Lamedeer and Rita Mae, you have made some inquiries into the possibility of an underground Native American movement of the sort that Martin described. If you wish, I can relate that here, or we can open up a thread about a discussion with a tribal elder.
Aefe - We will play out your experimentation upon the zombie blood and pieces/parts after the current adventure.
Steve - I don't have any rumors for you at the moment. More material will come out of the next adventure for you, The Beowulf Project.

You have continued to read widely.
Different volumes speak of this world as a prison, an experiment by more powerful beings, or a hidden place away from the mainstays of power and influence throughout our universe.
You have also run into a wide and various assortment of conspiracy theories about everything from alien abductions to government plots, to the infamous Men in Black who protect Area 51 and a variety of covert operations both within and outside the United States.
You have run across references to the Mystics, an ancient group dedicated to the preservation of our world and those within it, although certain purist factions also seek to cleanse any human which they view as tainted, incomplete or blasphemous.

The scientist slid the DVD into his player, and sat back to watch with a cup of coffee. It was less than 24 hours old, but with his new security clearance he'd been on the short list of people who saw it while the soldiers were probably still on the ground. He fast-forwarded through all the low resolution nightvision footage, and the shots from the low-flying stealth helicopter in infrared realtime, and the boring gunfights.
During the cleanup afterward, the photographer was cautious about taking direct face shots of the soldiers, but nobody can be entirely careful without mishap, and with a judicious use of freeze frame and graphic enhancement, within two hours the scientist had five stills of various members of the teams, including a ridiculous shot of a young black man standing with his foot on the bumper of a 4 x 4 truck and the corpse of a zombie strapped to the front of a truck like a deer.
The scientist shook his head. Fortunately, he was looking for physical specimens only. He took one of the freeze frames with the young black soldier holding his extended arm with a thumbs up signal, and fed it into a computer where it calculated the length of his limbs based on mathematical comparisons with the schematics from the make and model of truck he stood next to.
Two hours later, he had the names of the five soldiers, and a first draft of his letter requesting DNA samples from their medical records.

Pursuant to this, Lucas will begin surreptitiously gathe as much information as he can regarding these folks, and try to find out what they know, or have rumored about, the silent watchers with black eyes.

Steve is experimenting with using meditation to access and make sense of his new memories and experiences, and putting old memories and experiences in context.
In that regard, the time spent at the compound meditating, doing yoga, and ayervedic breathing exercises could be extremely useful.
Anything you can post with regard to his success or failure in this regard would be helpful.

Make a Knowledge: Arcane check. I will add +5 to the DC. You may take 10, but not 20, in this case.

Lucas: the final result is 16.
You can't find anything but ambiguous, terse references in old myths.

I know but i had a better then average chance of getting more then a 20, and at least a 50 % chance of better then taking 10.
with an add of 5 to the check (which i assume would have been high) i felt i needed a chance at a better then 24 result.
oh im not complaing at you just at the dice.
