I realized, after thinking about last night's session and sleeping on it, that the information dump was a bit too much. In the future, I will type up mission briefings and post them here, and keep the exposition to a minimum.

I'm still learning how to run a modern campaign that doesn't have the Wandering Adventurers motif to fall back on, so I hope we can recover from a session that lagged a bit.

We started almost an hour late due to leveling up and rulebook consultation, but we started to ease into our roles at the Old Church scene afterward. (Martin decided to throw out some philosophical chum for the suckers to bite into, Lucas reeled in Fred the Head, Mike played the stoic sketic to the hilt, and Keiko threw out her bait for the leader.) Having lived in Oregon during the Rajneeshees' tenure in Antelope, I can say that this arc contains an entertaining meta-story for at least half the players. The exposition was about right for a 7:30 start, and we have a couple of weeks to digest the info dump and strategize.
