View Full Version : What are you hankering after right now?
Right now I find myself visualising Nigella's Warm shredded lamb sald with mint & pomegranate (http://www.channel4.com/life/microsites/N/nigella/bites6.shtml#recipe1). I am almost salivating at the thought of it.
How about you?

rabbit.
I've seen a rabbit at the grocery store a few weeks ago and it has been niggling me. I don't have a decent recipe on hand and the last time I attempted to prepare it... it was less than successful.
My mother used to make it in a stew like sauce with polenta on the side.. hmm...

Sleep is for ninnies. I don't have insomnia, but I have just too much going on right now. I've been sleeping 4-5 hours a night since January. It's catching up on me as I fell asleep watching the Quebec elections last night.

Dude, you managed to sleep through that?
We were up until past 11pm, glued to the television still in shock and awe about what happened last night.
Incidentally election night, be it provincial or federal, is a night where we take out the junk food for a night of "family" viewing. Last night, we made homemade popcorn twice.

Really? I understood it as being "no stimulants".
So green tea is still a go? I'm assuming that black tea here doesn't mean "tea without milk".

Stimulants has nothing to do with it. It's "hot drinks" with coffee and black tea as the particular focus.
I myself have done some research on it to try and figure out why. It's actually rather interesting the things the caffeine and the tannic acids do to you.

Being that I always liked Dumas, I was kind of happy for him. I must say I haven't heard his latest platform.
I'm not living in that province. I'm interested in knowing what's happening, but I'm still not that personally impacted..

Dumont, not Dumas.
He's essentially a populist. His platform is whatever is popular (reasonnable accomodations being the most recent). He promises big things but avoids giving numbers. But now that he's officially in the big leagues and the official opposition, the other parties are calling his bluff and asking to see his cards.
Also, he'll have to actually learn the names of his candidates. :sarcblink:
My family wanted a minority liberal party and we were close to have a ADQ one. The ADQ just isn't ready for full reigns of power. [wipes sweat from brow]
