Texans trade for Schwab, introduce him as their new starting QB, and look to trade Carr.

I'm pretty suprised. Carr looked pretty good for most of last season.

I heard on the radio earlier that the texans waived Carr. Haven't read any confirmation though.

Carr was in a bad situation in Houston since quarterbacks rarely excell when in the prone position. I'm curious as to how he would fare with team which has a good offensive line.

Both of those guys would have been better for the Texans as trade bait. I can't believe they just cut them and got nothing for their trouble.

Oh well. Nice to see that at least two of the teams in my Coltses division are mismanaged and will keep themselves down nicely. :spring_blau:

Apparently the Texans had been trying to move Carr for several weeks before his release. Since it was more or less an open secret that Carr was done in Houston, they didn't have much leverage.

I think DDW had that microfracture surgery on his knee, didn't he? If so, he's damaged goods. No one would've traded for him in that case.
