Mortal Desires, sample PCs & sundry

It turns out that I have 6 basically ready-to-go PCs to pick from, one from each Camarilla clan except Nosferatu. They have backgrounds of varying level of detail, which you'd be free to use, expand upon, or alter as you see fit. I'm posting PCs and the GURPS Kindred template (as a .zip file, since VBB doesn't like .rtf files) here for now. We should be getting our own forum in a short while, at which time all info dumps will happen there.

It looks like the rulebook scans I did, that worked out to almost 200 MB uncompressed, zipped down to just over 1 MB, which I think is sufficiently small to distribute by email. If you are playing, drop me a PM with an email address and I'll send the archive file your way.

All the pre-gen PCs were based in part off of Vampires in the Jyhad/Vampire: the Eternal Struggle CCG. I'm attaching the relevant pictures below.

OK, it turns out that the archive utility turned my hard drive into a house of lies, because in reality there was only a few percent compression after zipping, not the factor of 100 I reported earlier. So I still need to figure out a way to distribute the files somehow.

Oh shit, didn't see this thread here. I PM'ed you the email, and the beginnings of my concept. I'm doing the physical writing of it now. Haven't had time 'til now, but it's all up in my head.

Have you tried WinRAR? That program has many alternate files of greater compression. And you can always try zipping the zip.

I probably need a factor of 10 in compression before the files become realistically e-mailable. I think I might try putting them temporarily on the web. Stay tuned.

<shrug> If very unfamiliar to the WoD. I've given the wiki a once-over and that's just about it.

I've got an interesting concept that Det is looking over at the moment.
We'll see if he lets me get away with it. <shrug> It isn't abusive, but it doesn't necessarily "fit", either.

If he gives it the thumbs-up, look for a 14th or 15th generation IQ-based Malkavian. (Pending templates and explainations.)

The J-O-B sort of happened all over the place tonight, so I haven't had a chance to do much with the game, but I am transferring all 193 MB worth of scans right now to a public accessible website. I'll have instructions for downloading ready most likely tomorrow.

One thing I will say, the PCs are going to be sent to investigate an incident in New Orleans on behalf of either the Malkavian Justicar or Prince of Dallas (where the MalkJ resides). Try not to be too crazy or antisocial in character concept.

My character (as currently written) is originally from NO and has what I think is a NO style name

Figured probably got displaced to Dallas by the Hurricane, but is happy to go back to NO now that theres a Cool Mission
