1. The Red Wings are in 1st place in the whole of the NHL
2. The Pistons are in 1st place in the whole of the Eastern Conference.
3. The Tigers are in spring training and look to be as good, if not better than last year.

It almost makes the pain of watching the Lions play sufferable. :sawink2:

The Wings have something to be excited about. I'm not so sure about the Pistons. Would've been nice for Hamilton to hit those free throws in the 4th quarter. 5 straight misses from an 87% FT shooter? Unreal.

At no point in their recent year's runs have the Pistons been something I would describe as "exciting" They are, however, very much the NBA equivalent of "Grim & Gritty" in their playstyle. I have high hopes for the playoffs.

The wings are always about the playoffs. I'm looking forward to this year quite a bit.
