Kat,
I was curious how you go about choosing a location to set a particular scene in? I've read how you do research into the history of a particular place and/or location (your's is the only book I feel cool reading the notes at the end about all the locations), but is there something causes you to favor one location over another?
I personally wish an aspect of one of your stories would take place in a spooky or old hotel (I work for a hotel) and walking the hallways and dark rooms can be spooky at times...
