View Full Version : What's it like in the Grey?

I know I really like a book when it starts to permeate real life or I start to think of character as real people.

I was driving in through thick fog just before dawn this morning and thought "I bet this is what it's like in the grey, all washed out and no real sense of where you are".

Anyone else had moments in the Grey? Or moments when the lines between reality and any favourite book have blurred? Do you worry about or miss characters as though they were real people in your life? Or is it just me and you are already dialling for them to come and take me away?

I haven't had a grey moment, or should that be a gray moment (?) yet, but I do occasionally miss characters as though they existed in the real world.

It could just be an overactive imagination. Maybe it's an English or British thing:D All I know is that playng in my head can be lots of fun sometimes.

Rae,
I love playing in my head too. Sometimes I just don't want to come back out. :)
