That's what JAX rolled up against Indy this afternoon in a 44-17 spanking. There's some possibility that these two teams meet up in the first round of the playoffs this season. Indy is in serious danger of playing themselves out of a first-round bye.

Indy is NOT going to go far in the playoffs, I hate to say. Manning has looked like ass in the last couple games.....and he cannot play, thus far, in the big game.

Its roughly the same team as last year, with no real improvements. Dont expect much out of them.

Indy hasn't been able to stop the run all year. <shrug> It was only a matter of time until somebody focused on that weakness, and pounded them into the ground.

And even if Indy made it past Jax in the 1st round they'll almost certainly have to go against San Diego in the chapionship game. LT would like unto a feral raking, rending troll where they are concerned. ;)

Tomlinson could get 300 by himself against Indy if things break right...

LT is licking his chops just thinking about that game

Man, if the Saints hang an L on Dallas at Cowboy Stadium they will be primed to grab the #2 seed in the NFC. At least.

A whole lotta' style. Onside kick up 35-17 and then the deep ball to Henderson. Ouch.

Shaddap. Just....shaddap.

:sad010:

First time in years I've turned off a Colts game in the third quarter.

Even as a die-hard fan, I must admit they will NOT get the defense fixed this year. Too many injuries to the average starters we have, and too many starters lost to other teams in the last two years (esp. linebackers) for the defense to recover. We still have a nice pass rush, but when we can't force the other team to pass.... it matters naught.

First-round exit in the playoffs again.

Also: Manning has not looked like ass. Everyone around him has. The Colts had SIX drops before I turned the game off. Most of those were good balls that hit the receiver in the hands, in stride. No QB looks good if his receivers treat the ball like it's covered in contact poison.

That's just mean.

And classless. Even Stever Spurrier, widely recognized and hated as one of the biggest assholes in coaching, wouldn't onside kick with a lead like that in the 3rd quarter where he's been dominating all game. That kick was just to rub their nuts in Parcells' face and it was some cheap bullshit.

I cheer for the Cowboys 'cuz I'm from Texas, but I'm not really a fan. It's just that that was some real crap.
