The regular season kicks off tonight with Tennessee paying a visit to Pittsburgh. Get your Titans and Steelers in your lineup before kickoff (8 pm Eastern).

Neither player affected by that plays tonight and they shouldn't lock until their respective game times. You have a couple days yet.

Short FG attempt blocked by Pittsburgh -- that's a 5-point swing for the Monks.

Welp, I shouldn't have benched Santonio, I think.

Ah, I see that my cunning plan to perform poorly in the early season, thus lulling you all into a false sense of security is working *perfectly*, as the Maine Mad Monks are currently delivering a 10 - 0 deep-dicking, buttwise, to the Gorillas...

A question: how the heck did the Tribbles manage to get -1?!?

Loss of yards, fumble, interception.... or something that is basically a screw up.

Don't sweat that you're down 14-0. The only reason is that I had a stake in last night's game and you didn't. You still have all 10 starters going, whereas I have 9.

So I had my first tough call.

I've benched Berrian for Josh Morgan. Between the fact he hasn't worked with Favre; and that it's unknown just how much his injury will effect him, I'm going into risk avoidance mode.

Thoughts?

BTW Chim, you've got a similiar decision with Wes Welker. He's questionable, and may be limited on Monday. You might want to sub him for Lavernius Coles or Lee Evans. (Or not, Welker has a higher upside, to offset the risk. It's up to you.)

I haven't checked the scoreboard but I must be getting crushed just by Purple Jesus Himself. Luckily, I have him in another league, and I've got the Eagles D/ST in that one, too.

If only the rest of my party members werent wasting the epic performance by the Eagle's D/ST

However I am completely shocked and awed in a favorable way that Matt Ryan had a good outing

<3 Drew Brees

50 pts. Have we ever had a player go for 50 pts?

Two years ago When I had a 162pt week...I think it was donavan and his hook up....it was brutal.

Amazingly, even with Brees 50 point day, ESPN is still preticting a Chewbitcha loss.

Farve had a 6 TD day last year when I had him. I think I was playing you too. :sawink2:

Cutler and Rodgers both looking like ass through the first half tonight, especially Cutler. Although, Collinsworth is correct that Cutler's receivers haven't really done him any favors, particularly Desmond Clark, who looks lost out there.

Yeah the rest of my team was a turd fest. It's been up in the air all day. Right now I'm projected for a 16 point win.

Yay! Glorious Victory!

Due to the epic efforts of the Eagles D/ST, and not at all from the combined 6.5 pts my WR's managed combined

I'll take this week and call it good, and try not to remember that I was the top scorer in week 1 last year too.

Yeah this was a strange week for scoring. All the 2TD receivers seemed to have been tight ends and ones who went undrafted at that!
