I was wonder why not create a whole forum created to this great series theres plenty of members here to do that and with Mrs. rRchardson support the forum would grow and become a awesome forum.

Neither objecting nor agreeing:

But what is it you're looking for in a forum that isn't met here?

Umm.... I don't want to be a bitch, but we're guests here. This forum is administered by a friend through his willingness and interest and the very kind donation of resources by the domain owner. I'm very grateful for their help and enthusiasm and I'm frankly too lazy (and a bit busy) to do it myself. Also, there isn't a lot of action here, so taking it out to its own server and forum would be a lot of work that isn't going to pay off at this time.

When and if the activity on this forum rises and/or if the owner and moderators gets sick and tired of me, then a move is in order and with it, possibly expansion. But until then, I don't think there's any justification for a private forum.

Now, if the forum gets a lot more active, then a move would bethe right thing to do--if for no other reason than to give Magnus back his bandwidth and act like a good guest.

Oh, I wouldn't worry about us getting tired of you. :)

I'd also like to chime in on this one just to say, i have been involved with a couple of attempts to get book group forums up and running. Although in principal it's a great idea, if it doesn't get plenty of real traffic the poor old moderator ends up just spending all their time delting spam and removing trolls. Without the reward of constant and active traffic (sufficient to justify more than one mod at least) it's just a massive chore.
I think for the time being we are better off here.
It's not a bad idea though, i've just been there before.

It was a perfectly reosonable question, before my experiance of moderating I would have thought the same.

Oh, no. Sorry. I didn't mean you were being rude. I just want credit to go where it's due.
