i just don't see that going over well with their fans, to be honest.

I think this will be true for most teams. it's one of the things Vick is going to have to overcome. Basically he needs the right combination of offer, opportunity, and a team mercenary enough to think him worth the risk.

i quite agree.

the default destination for players with character issues in the NFL is oakland, yet the ESPN writers seem to think that's not a foregone conclusion. i find that analysis interesting.

Can't ESPN start talking about something fresh, like Terrell Owens, maybe? This is ridiculous.

Until Vick signs with a team? Not likely. He's a probowl caliber QB and a free agent. That's news no matter who or where it crops up and you know it. Besides, TO is behaving himself quite well.

i gotta say, doesn't TO usually behave himself in year 1? i think that was true in SF, and know it was true in philly and dallas.

This report is ridiculously overblown if it gets interpreted to mean "maybe Vick is coming to Green Bay," and isn't really news.
