What carmachu said.
I've had my sportsgasm (yess, my precious!) and I intend to sit here and afterglow, and ignore the NBA finals and baseball until football rolls around again.

Heh, well, Oswalt will show up
I dunno if the Astros have anyone else that can be properly termed Pitcher as opposed to source of batting practice

Almost time to see how well-spent that free agent money will be for the Chubs.

Did they outspend the Yankees this go round?
Personally Im hoping the Cubs in fact do not excel, there in the same division as the NL team I hope does excel

The Yanks actually sat on their pocketbook for once.
While the Cubs opened theirs. Pinella should be one very happy man. (For a brief time. Before he buries home plate.)

The Cubs basically broke the bank this offseason. They retained Aramis Ramirez and signed Alfonso Soriano, in addition to numerous other moves involving lesser amounts of money.
The Cubs' success is still going to come down in large part to the health of Mark Prior and Kerry Wood. As it has each of the previous four seasons.
Wake me up at the All Star break if the tigers are doing well again.
