You know what?
Well for anyone that Hasn't read the Spoiler below
I'm watching season 3 of Heroes and William Katt just got killed, he was playing an incidental reporter character (well so far). along with George Takei (died season 2) and Malcom McDowell (Linderman also season 2) these are three important actors from.... IIRC three of Fanboys really liked shows that have grown in cult following though their first appearances were, shall we say, not spectacular. One from he 60's (Takei as Sulu from Star Trek), one from the 80's (William Katt as Ralph wearing the super suit in Greatest American Hero) the Odd thing is Macom McDowell was the Lead on a 1998 Fantasy Island version so that ties in the 70's ( the old version of Fantasy Island) and the 90's (his version).
I was just wondering if people thought that Heroes might be trying to draw upon and then kill the former icons of fandom in order to increase their own stength in some sort of subtle manipulation of fanboy psyche? Or if they were doing it on accident? or if they were making blood sacrifices to some dark god of TV to keep the show on the air?
