It's interesting, but the fact that the tags are entirely user defined is a little bit of a shortcoming I think. If I enter "Villains and Vigilantes" for my tag and someone else enters it as "Villains & Vigilantes" or "V&V" we may not find each other.

They do have a list of tags that players have created but, unless I am missing something, no easy way to add that tag to your profile. You can't just click on it and then click on a button saying "add to my profile." You have to remember exactly how it's written and then manually type it into your profile.

And (unless I am still missing something) there's no option to just view all registered users in your area. You have to have a tag in common. While I would like to find V&V players in my area, I'd be willing to play just about ANYTHING if I could just find a local gamer, but I don't want to have to enter every single tag in their database.

I actually had more luck finding local gamers at meetups.com.
