what rpg would be best suited for HEROES?
or could any work just watered down?

the reason i ask this, is I've been out the loop for some yrs
so I don't know all about the new rpg's.

your thoughts....

The Paragons setting for M&M2E is supposed to be Heroes with the numbers filed off.

The only super-hero RPG I have experience with is Aberrant, and the first season at least seems to match well with the game, especially with how Silar seems to be getting gradually more crazy as he eats more people.

I'd say the characters could be easily ported into just about any super-hero system that's scaleable to different power levels (most of the characters seem pretty low-powered compared to comic book super-heroes, but you do have a guy who can stop time, which is off the scale compared to a lot of the other characters on the show).

V&V is my favorite system and does low-powered characters well, so I'd say it would be a good choice, except that it's set up to make it hard to kill characters, esp. super-powered ones, and Silar kills regularly and with ease (so did Nikki, now that I think about it). So you'd have to come up with some lethality house rules I would think.

Justice had some good lethality rules, IIRC.
