Ok, so this is only nominally supers but it's FUN!

What is your villain name?

They already have Bad Horse, Dead David Bowie and Fake Thomas Jefferson.

My answer later (when I'm feeling more creative)

Is there a specific format for it, or just something we can come up with. Cause Red Herring sounds like it would work.

Spooky Tooth.

Or maybe Sumo Sam.

Baron Mind, perhaps?

The Ego Waffler might be appropriate.

The evil league of evil just calls me "Sir". Or "Master".

With the occasional "Ohgodmakeitstop"

Back when I playtested the I.S.T. book, I ran a campaign and put a number of villains out who wre described in IST bulletins operating in other cities. The PCs bit on one of them Chill Factor, who attacked and almost destroyed one of the space shuttles as it launcehed.

They never bit on this Speedster who was going around Seattle killing 'sinners', adult book store operators, workers and patients at clinics that provided abortions, or chopped up members of the gay and lesbian communities with that broadsword he used, often with a super speed boost.

His name?

Terrible Swift Sword.

While techincally it may not be MY name, from the reaction recieved when people heard the name, it sure was Eeeee villle.

heh.. in Dr. Horrible some of the villain names are way fun. The Pink Punisher comes to mind.

For me, BattleNymph seems a pretty good supervillainess name but perhaps more insidious would be:

The Puce Pucker. You can guess the powers. :D Hey, she'd even have a signature color.

Name generators galore (http://seventhsanctum.com/index-supe.php) for the tired GM!

But with personal creations:The Void!!!

You do not exist. People see you, yet in their mind, you are a non-event, forgettable to all, even your loved ones.

In game mechanic terms, he unconsciously affects memories of any observer. People forget his presence, his very existence, the very moment they blink or look away. The psychic wave he emanates that causes this effect even affects electronic devices. So even a surveillance camera following him would transmit the power to any living observer. Cell phones, digital cameras, web cams, DVDs, VHS tapes... all carry the power. However, chemically based media does not, so an old 35mm non-digital camera, a polaroid, an oil painting, etc... will "remember" him.

The psychologically terrifying part of his power is that he can imbue someone else with it for a period of time. Colleagues; friends; family; everyone sees you for the first time, you are a stranger to them, an intruder even. All your deeds and actions never were. The minds of the populace somehow reason your non-existence within their own reality. Think of ST:TNG episode #79 Remember Me (http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Remember_Me) as a reference.

I actually had the thought of a hero organization, the Doctors Light, with membership going to such worthys as Doctor Microwave, Professor X (Raymond X, that is :D) and their harried henchman Roy George Bivowitcz.

I'm sure Det wants to hit me with something now ...

....no, Doctor Indecisive. Or, wait. Doctor Indecision!. Or Captain Indecision? The Indecisionator! Mr. Indecision, Man of Many Delays! No, that's just stupid. Um...

A couple of others based on the same set of powers.

The Consumer, who literally converts matter to energy and absorbs it. (at E = MC2 rates, he just emits an incredible amount of it in the form of neutrinos, or Tahcyons or any other paticle that would have negligible interaction with local matter. Figure he lives off of a couple of handgrenades worth of energy for every potential megaton of force he consumes. More or less mindless once human guy. The forcefield that protects him prevents the atmosphere from rusing into him at incredible speed. Breaking the forcefield could cause tremendous windstorms and if overloaded he might release the incalcuable energies of a couple of tons worth of converted mass into harmful energies. - This would make the theorized Dinosaur extinguishing Asteroid Impact look like a day in the park.)

Baron Barren. A meglomaniac billionaire who bribed scientists and officials studying the captured Consumer. Duplicated his abilities at a lower power scale. He retained his mind and can make ranged disintegration attacks.

i don't believe i have one although now that i think about it, silverscream would be a pretty decent supervillain name. :>

the best supervillains i ever created were for V&V.

seeker. seeker was my own version of ultron (marvel). a robot created by a supergenius, he was an AI in a robotic body who developed the ability to self-reprogram. turned to evil upon seeing just how self-destructive humanit was, seeker's mission is to destroy all human life. having a natural aptitude for robotics, he has since been through several bodies, each more formidable than the last. seeker's "father" was killed by seeker; seeker's "sister", the supergenius's natural daughter who became the superhero the crimson vortex, is on a lifelong quest to destroy seeker.

shatterstar. admittedly reusing a marvel codename, shatterstar is in my V&V world the equivalent of a herald of galactus (marvel). with a physical form that is a living fusion reactor, shatterstar is, in fact, a sentient star, whose attacks inflict [basic hits]d10 dmg. his former master is a world-destroying supervillain on the galactus-scale of power, who has a host of massive intelligent robots whose mission is to destroy shatterstar.

I had two really terrifying villains, one was a dark S&M version of my galactic knight called the Darkenknight (years before Batman, The Dark Knight showed up). He was the evil counterpart and leader of The Conquerors on an Earth where the supervillains took over.

Think of Darth Vader meets Iron Man.

The second was a villain who was a cross between John Carpenter's The Thing and Alien with a bit of Terminator thrown in: BioMech.

He was an adaptive and regenerative bioengineered agent, designed for galactic warfare.

He, like Ultron, kept getting better with each "resurrection".

He had Bionics, Mutant Power, Absorption, A/P powers twice, Adaptation, etc. He was a team-stopper.

But I may misunderstood the point of this thread - to share MY Evil "League of Evil" Name.

I once had the username "EvilSpock" for my goatee and love of ST:TOS ISS Enterprise episode "Mirror, Mirror".

Another would be "Black Omni" - also from ST:TOS series of fiction - Sondra Marshak and Myrna Culbreath.

A villain who, like FORCE from the V&V modules, had conquered death by mental transference and cloning. Vulcanoid, he was terrifyingly brilliant and ruthless, since his wife and child had died due to Federation interference and laid his world to waste.

I used that name for my assassin, 25 years ago.
