it's a simple question: what would jesus not do?
please, no christian-baiting or unprovoked malicious snark.

Jesus would NEVER encourage anyone to break the law. He was a big-business Libertarian who believed in plutocracy: government of the rich, by the rich and for the rich.
Just ask BB.

that's the very clear meaning of "render unto caesar that which is caesar's", i take it?
17 minutes in and the snark is already ankle deep in here.
Dude...
Jesus would not:
Lie, cheat, steal, sleep around, get drunk. (Not to be confused with drinking the alcohol though eh...) By the same token JC would avoid partake of anything to excess. He also would not blindly follow rules just because they were rules. As Org snarkily pointed out Jesus understood, or understands if one must go there, that rules have a time and place wehre they must be set aside as inapplicable. The irony of his followers then demanding that rules be followed blindly has quite the sweet taste to it. :sawink2:

Jesus would not leave an empty coffee pot on the burner. He would also not vacuum someone's office while the occupant was on the telephone. Most importantly, Jesus would not spam people with pretentious chain letter e-mails; even if they were of a Christian nature.

Jesus would never ask someone to send in a big donation in return for him praying over a handkercief.
Does that count as Christian baiting? :D
He would never turn his back on me.

My Paladin is level 53, holy spec. I have a level 30 hunter and a 16 Priest. I've really quit worrying about levelling and started just enjoying the game. I play a little less that way. :D I've become an officer in a guild and so I spend most of my time helping people and recruiting new members and helping them. I enjoy that more than grinding levels.

I didn't have to grind any levels out. I just kept going to where the quests were and doing them till I hit 60. :sawink2: I hear ya though. those last 7 levels to 60 are hard. But once you hit 58 you can go into outland and I HIGHLY recommend abandoning the old world as quickly as you can and getting out there. The rise in the quality of your gear is nothing less than meteoric. The Belf-adin is going to be retribution specced when I'm done.

I've still got some quests I can do. I haven't done Silithus, Eastern Plaguelands, or Winterspring yet. But I'm really in an odd spot in the guild. We have about 5 in their sixties, maybe 3 of us in the 50's and then a herd of people in the 40s. So I spend a lot of time doing instances and quests to help them out, which gives little or no XP. The folks in their 60s also help out, but they're online a lot more than I am and have time to solo.
Probably when I hit 56 I'll put in it gear to get to Outland quicker.

If you've got 60's in your guild get yourself loaded down on quests for BRD and have them drag you through 1 or 2 times. That should get you a level all by itself. Then do the same for scholomance, and LBRS. You'll make 58 in no time.

Ret spec will probably level faster than holy. I went Holy spec because we dont have a Cleric and our only other Pally is Ret Spec. I end up as healer on most instance runs.

It depends. In the case of gay people, you're probably pretty close to the mark. I've found few people who can hate homosexuality and still love homosexuals.
In a case like drug addicition I think you can hate the thing and not the person much easier.
Salah-ad-Din,
Jesus freak
The only person I have ever said I have hated was my Dad, both his actions and him as a person, but when it came to the end I realised I didn't hate him either.
I think hating yourself must be a very painful state to be in and would hope anyone feeling that would look beyond their pain to see what kind of person they really were.

I don't.
Just as an example, I have friends that I love very much who are into things I feel are destructive. I love them, I don't love what they're doing right now. That means I don't participate in their habits but I'm not hateful or nagging either cause I love them. I'll just be there to pick up the pieces when they realize the pain they've caused themselves.

From what i understand a paladin's life in the end game is heal, heal, heal, adn maybe once in a while tank while healing. Holy spec is where you wind up. Another good reason for you to do a BRD run is the +healing plate drops like a warm spring rain in there.
