We also covered the material from Episode 2: The Witch's Mark last night.

A few things you know:

A circle, in ancient witchcraft, drawn clockwise invokes or locks. Drawn counterclockwise, it unlocks or releases.

Lucas did some research and found reference to an old Swedish fairy tale about a witch that would come out of the forest. She would sometimes touch a piece of bread to the foreheads of children. In the morning, the parents would find their childrens's beds full of bread crumbs and crows, and the children would be gone.

I'd like to thank Origen fro running that session for us... I had a blast, and the characters all seemed very interesting.
I think the ren faire was a great touch, and org did a great job of setting the atmosphere for us.

A couple of highlights i saw, Dai-oni's gender challenged character dressing up as a ninja and going to a ren faire--- and promptly placing all the other wannabe ninjas in their place with a beautifull duck and resounding smack to the head (max damage!) in a duel. The rest of the ninjas breaking character and crowing Kenji (later renamed katsui?) king of all ninjas was awesome. The crown would prove very strange later in the adventure... :smilie_sn:

I remember trying to pass off my forged IDs so we could get teh alcohol, the inn keeper noticing my excelent forgery attmept, yet still serving us drinks was awesome. (I still say Luc is not going to let the matter drop untill he can make a fake ID that will get by said inn keeper unnoticed!)

Watching said innkeep flirt mercilessly with martin blank, and martin blank actually considering takign her up on it... (of course after the adventure, he wakes up in her bedroom all the same... lol)

When events went sour it was great to see kenji in action, as he adeptly used his wooden ninja sword to disarm the axe from the big scary guy... and the double take he did at the little ninaj dressed in black wearing a burger king crown and holding a wooden traingn sword before him. priceless. I think we got a round of inaction out of him from that little double take!

I was fairly impress too, with both Blastum and Dr.Mercury for not filling him full of holes with their respective weapons... they managed to keep him occupied long enough tro keep him from doing real harm, (hopefully) to his first intended victim... though when he did bend down to further attack the student on the ground i had to step in... hey a can of pepper spray can make even a Nerd brave! runinng at the guy trying to get him to move away from the student, and trying to spray him with pepper spray just might not have been one of the smarter things ive done. I say try because even though its a touch attack... i roleld a 4! Somehow i dont see the main BBEG with a touch DC of 5... So there luc is, eyes open in shock and horror as he realizes he failed to hit the big guy with the spray... and then gets decked for almost twice his current hit points! 7 to -6 in one blow... ouch!

And of course the black ops team rolls in drops Martin and mysterious lady walks around each of us and places soem kind of mark on our foreheads. Luc is never going to forget that... or the Woman!

I think its time for some major reaerch and perhaps some knowledge skill aqcuisition!
